Student’s pledge (annex 32)

In case of a student visa application, the obligatory financial guarantee can be provided via a guarantor by submitting an annex 32.

Information and conditions on the annex 32 can be found on the website of the Immigration Office.

The annex 32 needs to be submitted at the embassy for approval first, before introducing the visa application via VFS Global.

The required documents to submit are:

1. the annex 32 form dully filled out;
2. a copy of guarantor’s passport and the student passport;
3. the original stamped personal bank statements for the past three months showing regular income (highlight income on document);
4. a salary certificate stating role, salary and joining date (or pension certificate);
5. the admission letter from a Belgian university;
6. proof that the guarantor is a family member up to maximum the third degree (birth certificate).
