Notary competence

1) I have an activated ID card

You can digitally sign deeds in consultation with your Belgian notary.

2) I don't have an activated ID card

You can sign a notarial deed at the embassy for notarial purposes in Belgium.
 
Firstly, your Belgian notary has to send the draft deed to the Department of Foreign Affairs via this e-mail address: notaribox@diplobel.fed.be

Secondly, please contact the Embassy for further processing.

Once your file is approved, you will be invited to sign the deed at the Embassy.
